Play-Doh primarily a mixture of water, salt and flour. Play-Doh compound is non-toxic, non-irritating & non-allergenic non-staining, & reusable, except as noted: Children who are allergic to wheat gluten may have an allergic reaction to this product. Play-Doh does not have an expiration date. Play-Doh compound is designed to use over and over again. Play-Doh are very sensitive to humidity and moisture in the air. If the Play-Doh is sticky: kneading it in your hands for a while to dry it out some, and continue kneading until the dough no longer feels sticky. Even leaving it exposed to warm dry place will begin to dry it out, but don't do it for too long though. If too dry out it will be harden. If the Play-Doh is harden: to restore the softness to Play-Doh compound, can adding water one drop at a time and working it in to moisten the Play-Doh compound.
